Izelle Strydom, a Grade 7 student, proudly represented the North West at the SA Youth Championships, earning a team silver medal and an individual bronze medal in the 90cm Junior category. She also secured third place in the 90cm Junior Championship.
Isla Pretorius, a Grade 5 student, delivered a fantastic performance at the SA Youth Championships, finishing third in the Pony Rider Championship.
Representing their province at a national championship comes with immense pressure, but both Izelle and Isla rose to the occasion with determination, composure and exceptional skill. The school said it is incredibly proud of the way they represented both the North West and Pecanwood College.
Jessica Ann Klitzner, a Grade 11 learner, will also represent Pecanwood College at the SANESA Finals at the end of the month, alongside Isla and Izelle.
Earlier this season, at SANESA Qualifier 2 at Heartland, Jess achieved second place in the High School 90cm Jumping and second place in the High School Performance Riding.
The school wished Jess, Isla and Izelle every success at the SANESA Finals, saying it is confident they will continue to make the school proud.
