Pabatso Rakubutu, a learner from The Mountain Cambridge School, is making waves in the competitive chess arena with a series of outstanding performances.
At the recent 3rd Khelo India Chess Tournament, Pabatso delivered a flawless display in the Under-12 (Section D) category, securing first place after winning all five of his matches.
He continued his impressive form while representing the Bojanala Chess Federation at the Spartans Bishops Tournament in Jeffreys Bay. His team achieved an admirable second-place finish overall, while Pabatso himself earned a gold award for Best Board, highlighting his exceptional individual performance.
