According to Hartbeespoort Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) spokesperson Leandre Spies, the HEMS team responded to the scene at Mamogalieskraal and, upon arrival, found that a man had fallen into the mill and sustained severe injuries.
“Despite the rapid response of emergency services, his injuries were unfortunately fatal, and the patient was declared deceased on the scene,” she said.
The scene was secured and handed over to police for further investigation.
