Jaco van der Berg (34) was at the Aloe Valley Wellness Manor, situated on the R511 Hennops Road, at the time of his disappearance.
“Jaco had a psychotic incident around 19:00 on Saturday and when staff tried to give him his medication, he refused and ran out the door,” his father, Petrus, told Hartbeespoort News. “He was very confused.”
Jaco was wearing grey tracksuit pants, a blue hoodie and was barefoot when he disappeared.
The family is very worried about Jaco’s safety and appeals to the community to help find him. Charlize posted photos of her and her brother with a message “Please just be ok” on her Facebook page on Monday.
Police have opened a missing person case.
